Principal Software Development Engineer (SDE III)
Role Overview
The role of Principal Software Development Engineer is meant to help shape and build the AMI Pillar Platform and provide leadership and mentorship to AMI’s app development teams. This role will help define and dictate technical vision across tech teams as well as support development and putting code into production. This individual should be oriented toward AI-driven development and comfortable leading technical teams in a player-coach capacity, as well as working cross-functionally with product owners, operations, and end-users.
NOTE: This role is for a seasoned C# / ASP.NET Core (server) and Vue 3 / Quasar / TypeScript (client) developer with cross-functional leadership skills. Please only apply for this role if you specifically meet these criteria
Key Responsibilities
- Active participant in sprint planning and agile ceremonies, contributing to story grooming, estimation, sprint review demos, and retrospectives
- Write and maintain User Stories that translate product requirements into clear, actionable development tasks, organized within a structured backlog hierarchy and aligned to release milestones
- Design and build full-stack application features spanning front-end components and back-end services, in alignment with product requirements and established architecture standards
- Drive AI-assisted testing automation, including creation and maintenance of automated test suites that support CI/CD pipelines and release quality gates
- Leverage AI development tooling to accelerate code authoring, technical documentation, and wiki maintenance for engineering teams and external stakeholders
- Demo product functionality to clients and internal stakeholders, clearly communicating updated features and workflows
- Support new customer onboarding and implementation efforts, serving as a technical guide through initial product configuration and environment setup
- Collaborate with product and engineering leads to maintain a healthy, well-structured backlog and contribute meaningfully to platform architecture discussions
Job Requirements
- 8–12 years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated tenure in a senior or lead engineering role
- Demonstrated expertise in full-stack development across front-end frameworks, RESTful APIs, and relational data layers
- Strong command of agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery, including backlog management and active participation in all team ceremonies
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools integrated into daily engineering workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical decisions for non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable demonstrating software to non-technical audiences, including enterprise clients and end users
- Proven ability to mentor engineers, model best practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Additional skills
- Proficiency in C# / ASP.NET Core (server) and Vue 3 / Quasar / TypeScript (client) required; ServiceNow development experience is a strong plus
- Experience supporting enterprise software implementations, particularly in IT Asset Management (ITAM) or inventory workflow automation, is a plus
Account Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Fractional Account Manager to execute customer renewals and support day-to-day account management activities. This role will handle renewals from quote creation through close, manage customer follow-up and outreach, and help identify opportunities to improve renewal processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end customer renewal process from quote preparation through close
- Create accurate and timely renewal quotes
- Deliver renewal quotes to customers and track status, follow-up, and next steps
- Negotiate pricing and renewal terms within approved guidelines
- Follow up consistently with unresponsive customers through email, phone, and other appropriate channels
- Maintain accurate records of renewal activity, customer communications, and pipeline updates in the CRM
- Monitor upcoming renewals and proactively manage timelines to reduce risk and prevent service lapses
- Partner with Customer Success and other internal teams to support smooth renewal execution
- Identify renewal risks, customer concerns, and potential churn indicators, and escalate issues proactively
- Support customer outreach activities, including scheduling business reviews and helping ensure meetings are confirmed
- Serve as a point of contact for routine account-related matters and route issues to the appropriate internal team as needed
- Prepare and share renewal status updates, account summaries, and follow-up reports with internal stakeholders
- Help maintain accurate customer records, contract details, and account information across systems
- Coordinate cross-functional follow-up on outstanding customer items, approvals, documentation, and next steps
- Support onboarding handoffs and other transition points related to renewals and lifecycle management, as needed
- Contribute to improving renewal processes, templates, tools, and internal workflows
- Recommend practical improvements to renewal tracking, quote management, customer follow-up, and scheduling processes
- Deliver a professional, responsive, and customer-friendly experience across all renewal and account touchpoints
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing customer relationships in an account management, renewals, customer success, or related client-facing role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with both customers and internal stakeholders
- Experience working in CRM systems and maintaining accurate account records
- Excellent time management, organization, and follow-through skills
- Strong problem-solving and judgment, with the ability to manage issues independently and escalate appropriately
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively across teams
- Experience in a technology, SaaS, or subscription-based business environment
- Strong documentation, reporting, and follow-up discipline
- Ability to analyze account activity, identify trends, and spot renewal risks
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in business related field
- Experience with subscription renewals, contract coordination, or recurring-revenue account management
- Familiarity with sales processes, quoting workflows, and customer lifecycle management
- Experience with sales enablement, CRM, or revenue operations tools
- Relevant certifications in sales, account management, or customer relationship management
